Dylan Quitoriano

I met Lucas back in December 2021 and I was intimidated at first because the man was so strong but I quickly learned that he is a very easy going and humble man.

I was being coached by my friend Matty Carbonell for my first 6 months of powerlifting and he got me to a good place before he handed me over to Lucas.

I began working with Lucas my coach on Feb 3, 2022. I knew I was going to be in for a good one with him being my coach. I quickly learned how adaptive he is with training styles and fixing anything that we could if need be. He is also very good at explaining the little things when we need to modify or tweak anything whether it comes to the three main lifts or accessory work.

Throughout my first meet prep block we were able to increase my total from 505kg to 552.5kg and place third in my first powerlifting competition in May 2022. Then in a quick turn about I was prepping for my second powerlifting competition 2 months later in July and we were able to increase from 552.5kg all the way up to 597.5kg including putting 50kgs on my deadlift in 7 months.

He is very quick and responsive to me when I send him my training videos even with his busy schedule of balancing becoming a pharmacist, National level powerlifter, and being in a great relationship with his girlfriend.

I’m very thankful to have Lucas by my side giving me guidance in powerlifting. But I’m most thankful for the bond I’ve formed with him and I’m glad I can call him my brother. And I’m excited to see what we can build in the foreseeable future together.
